Christmas afternoon is spent at "Nana's" house spending time with the rest of the family. "Gigi" has a drawing to see who gets the quilt made from squares that each family member had recently decorated. This is the type of present I like to see. It's easy to buy a gift from the store, and the memory of who bought what gift for whom can quickly fade, but memories like this quilt will last a lifetime. This was a gift for all - a memory for those who decorated their squares and a lifetime of memories for the recipient. I sure hope Gigi keeps this new tradition going for years to come.
