...and on my drive out, I see that many people in our area also have the desire to come see this piece of space flight history. I hope that our government and the people that vote them into office will continue to be supportive of the NASA space program so that we can continue creating 'space ships' such as these that get us beyond our little earth to new places where people have never been before. It's a sad thing for me to see these wonderful pieces of machinery retire, but it will also be exciting to see the next generation of space ships yet to come.
