When Zackery was 4 years old, he found Grandaddy's chess set in the closet and was really interested in what that thing was. That Christmas Santa Clause brought Zackery a similar chess set and Zack learned the basics on how to play using his own chess set, but it was made of glass and wasn't really portable.
The next year, Santa brought Zack a mini travel sized chess/checkers set and Zack brought it over to Great Grampa's one day and they tried to play checkers together, but the pieces were too small to really play a good game. Great Grampa told Zackery he needed a bigger set if they were going to be able to play together.
The next day, Zackery came home and found a box sitting at the door step. Zackery immediately said that he knew what it was - it was a bigger chess set from "Grampa". Sure enough it was... and it was in a nice portable box. Zackery took his new set over to "Grampa's" and they had a great time together playing checkers and chess on Zack's new set.
