The space station started to be built about 25 years ago and has grown to be as big in size as a football field and has 16 pressurized modules where astronauts work and live. Sadly, the space station program is scheduled to end in 2030 about 5 years from now. I sure hope that decision changes though and we keep the station flying much longer.
