I meet the next door neighbor's son "Pak" (Jimmy Pankonien) and he offers me a ride up to the top of the bluff to show me around on a four wheeler. Our land on top of the bluff starts just left of the green water tank on the Pankonien property. Jimmy's dad, Eddie Pankonien lives here year round. Come to find out, Eddie moved here from Shore Acres a few years back and his three sons Jimmy, Richard, and Louis all graduated from the same school as me... La Porte High. What a small world it is.
