Cyndi and I drove into town that first night to meet Chris and Cristy as they drove in to meet us at the river. It was dark and the animals were really starting to roam. We saw loads and loads of deer everywhere. Cyndi and I also saw a couple of huge porcupines crossing the road. I stopped to take this picture of this one scooting across the road. Cyndi tells me to go out and get a real close up... I tell her she's nuts.
