Hey duck, did you eat all my corn?

Actually, Saturday night we had a small storm roll through with lots of rain. During the night, in the rain, I went out to get a drink from the cooler in the truck. It was pitch black and raining quite a bit. When I got to the truck I heard this rustle just next to the truck and this loud snort and grunt. Stupid me didn't bring a flashlight and it was as dark as dark could be in the rain. Not knowing what was there, I quickly jumped into the truck and closed the door. I turned on the headlights, but didn't see anything. After a few minutes, I quickly scooted back into the tent and got my flashlight and shined it around. Back in the woods behind the truck was this really large buck deer with a big rack of horns. His eyes glowed red in the flashlight and I watched him move off towards the next lot as he kept his glowing eyes on me. I think I had come up on him in the dark on the way to the truck and he got just as spooked of me as I did of him. In the morning the big pile of corn we had put out was gone. I'm guessing he and/or some of his buddies ate it up during the night while we were sleeping.  (Note to self: Always have a flashlight handy... and the camera!)
