December is usually a really cold month, but I'm always off work for about a week and a half at Christmas so it gives me an opportunity to drive out to the river regardless of the weather. The temperature here today though is perfect in the mid 60's and nothing but sun. There was a good freeze a few weeks ago which I figure must be why all the growth seems dead and dormant. The river itself is clear as clear can be.
