This trip I decided I'd sleep right on the river bed to enjoy the soothing sounds of the water at night. Hopefully the river won't decide to rise while I'm sleeping and wash me away. There isn't any rain predicted around here or anywhere way upstream, so I'm not particularly worried about being stuck in a flood, but if the river does decide to take me away it'll be quite a ride!
