Jo-Jo and I are still going to need some dinner. I had brought a can of chicken & dumplings and some Vienna sausages as a backup in anticipation of rain in case I was unable to cook the steaks I had also brought for our primary meal. I managed to get a fire started using a some lighter fluid on some wet sticks that were still mostly dry in the middle. The rain kept the fire from burning big and bright, but didn't extinguish the fire either. It looks like I might be able to cook my steaks in spite of the rain - hopefully.
