I also spend some time reading a book Cyndi had given me several years ago - "One Man's Wilderness" about Richard Proenneke who decided he'd go out on his own in the Alaskan wilderness and make a home for himself living off of nothing but what the land provided him. Sitting by a semi-frozen river with no-one else around made for good reading of this book. One of these days, maybe I'll be bold enough to do something similar and someone will write a book about me doing the same.
