A little bit of paradise!

August 2025

There has been some recent flooding in the west Texas hill country. On July 4th, the Guadalupe river rose to over 26 feet high in 45 minutes in the early morning hours and crested at more than 37 feet high resulting in more than 135 deaths. Many children that were in summer camps near the river died during that flood. The Frio river also rose to minor flooding levels. Me and a friend took a trip down to my place near the Frio to see how the place looked after the flood.
