It was September 2008 and another hurricane was headed towards the coast of Texas. This hurricane is named Ike and was initially predicted to go towards Corpus Christi, but while in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico, the computer models all started pointing directly towards the Houston area. Preparations for the storm in our area began around Tuesday 09/09/08.
