By Thursday afternoon, NASA had closed down. On Friday, I spent time loading up my animals to take them over to Mom's in case my house didn't make it through the storm. I was unable to catch one of the "wilder" outdoor cats that I've had for 9 years now. I saw her throughout the day, but she always ran away whenever I tried to catch her. I felt bad that I couldn't catch her and hoped that she might be able to manage if this storm got really bad here.
