We watched as the levees in New Orleans broke again letting water into the city as the hurricane approaches. I start thinking of my home and my stuff and am thankful that I had managed to get us all out of harms way. The house may go, my stuff may go, but we're going to be alive. The waters will subside and we have become accustomed to staying in a tent from our camping trips to the Frio river, so we'll manage. I just keep hoping that the big snake cage will still be intact somewhere in the debris because there just isn't much room for the python in that small animal carrier. It'll be rough, but we'll manage.
