The goal of this trip was for me and a group of computer experts to climb on board the space shuttle to test the computer network connectivity for the laptops that would be flying on the STS-122 mission. This was rather exciting for me because our testing was to be performed in the space shuttle Atlantis while it was sitting on the launch pad.
