At our arrival to KSC, we park in front of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) before heading off to our test destination. This building was built to assemble the Saturn rockets during the Apollo mission days to the moon and is just a really huge building for assembling rockets. It is used these days to assemble the space shuttles for launch at least for the next year. Hopefully we'll continue to see this building used to assemble new vehicles for many more manned space flight ventures in the future.
