...and followed by another one. Then a third even larger one came out to eyeball me a bit (which I didn't get a good clear picture of). I think it might have been the mother of these two smaller ones. I don't think these critters would have caused me any harm, but it did get my heart pumping quite a bit especially when the really big one came out of the bushes and looked me right in the eye and made a loud "monster-like" noise my way. This is their natural home and I'm sure grateful I can come out here to share this place with the creatures that have made this their home. I can only hope that one day I can do the same.
