When I get to the living room, I remember all of my family photos and then start grabbing the things I really can't replace and putting them in plastic bags. I bagged all the photos inside of three bags and told Cyndi that at least the bags would float and we might be able to salvage some of these things. Cyndi then talked to her sister and we were told to bring all of our stuff to their two story brick home in Deer Park and put it on the second floor. We bagged everything we wanted to save and made several trips to Cyndi's sister's. It was a humbling experience trying to determine what was really worth while saving. We were still thinking we would stay through the storm, but Cyndi managed to get on the phone and find a hotel way up near Wichita Falls close to the Oklahoma border and booked three rooms for us and other family members. While continuing to bag our stuff, we decided we would leave within the next two hours. I went to my shed and gathered enough cages to take all of my family members with us (all of my critters).
